This cocoa recipe is inspired by PonyInABox's Whooves (also known as Clockwork). It's warm and sweet, with just a hint of sharp spice, just like the Doctor himself.
*Ingredients*
-Milk
-Your favorite cocoa mix
-brown sugar
-ground ginger
-vanilla creme (could also substitute sweet creme, Italian creme, or half and half with a -drop of vanilla extract)
*Instructions*
Fill a mug about three-quarters of the way with one or two percent milk (other milks will do, but these produce best results in my experience) and drop in two and half heaping spoonfulls of the cocoa mix. Microwave on high for about one and a half min. and thoroughly stir the mix in.
Now, add one heaping spoonful of brown sugar, two or three pinches of ginger (depending on how spicy you want it), and a couple splashes of creme (depending on how rich you want it). Stir well, and sip slowly while you ponder the meaning of the universe.
Or...you know, just drink it!
TIP: This is a very rich cocoa with a strong flavor. Personally, I enjoy it that way, but some like their cocoa more mild. You can easily tamper with the recipe until it tastes the way YOU like it!
VARIATION-If you want a version more fitting to Doctor Whooves and Assistant's Doctor (also known as Time Turner), substitute one of the two pinches of ginger for a pinch of cinnamon, and use a hazelnut or unflavored creme in place of the Vanilla one.

The Turner version uses ingredients that are more suited to Whooves and Assistant's Doctor. He's less serious, so some of the ginger is replaced by the more lighthearted flavor of cinnamon, but the gentle vanilla flavor is removed in favor of a strong hazelnut or bold, simple creme, as Turner is more violent and often a bit less kind than Clockwork.
So... that's how it's Doctor Whooves related. I like to make drinks inspired by different things, so I really thought out the ingredients for this one.
