'He hadn't mean for it to become love.
He really hadn't. It had just started one night when he wondered if he could reach her again. Twilight had been asleep, and he was lonesome with memories of his home. So he'd reached out with his mind, all the way across the universes, and by some inter-galactic miracle, he'd found her. The Professor, his alternate-universe, female self.
She was as surprised as he was, for she too had been trying to find him.
It was wonderful for them both. Another Time Lord to talk to, even if they were practically the same pony. They found themselves talking to each other any time they were alone, communicating with mind only across an unimaginable distance.
And the next thing they knew, it had skipped right past friendship, to something deeper.

And now, here he was.
"Let's go." she whispered into his mind. He knew exactly where she meant.
"But," he thought back "what if the memory is tainted? What if it doesn't feel...right?"
"Both of us together" she replied "would be able to make it right."
He sighed. And agreed. The two Time Ponies pooled their memories and thoughts, each falling into a deep trance and letting their minds enter the realm they had recreated together. Gallifrey, their home planet.
It was perfect.'

Shipping the Doctor and the Professor because I can. Also, only my third time in Photoshop, so the effects came out a bit meh.
